About this red desert sand: Red desert sand takes its colour from iron-oxide coatings on the grains. We collect it from our own opal fields at Coober Pedy. Collected in central Australia — never from Uluru or other sacred sites. This is a one-of-one piece: the photos show the exact sand you receive.
How it is made: The sand moves freely behind glass, sealed on both the front and the back of the pendant and of every setting, so it stays contained. Desert Sands pieces have no screws, and the sand is not swapped. Choose an adjustable ring or a necklace (bracelet coming soon) in uncoated 316 stainless steel, or 316 stainless steel with an 18K gold or rose-gold PVD coating (not solid gold).
Included: the sand piece, your chosen setting and finish, a description card, warranty and care instructions, gift packaging and delivery. Allow up to 5 days for preparation and dispatch. Delivery time varies by destination. Warranty: 2 years in the EU, 1 year elsewhere.
