2-year warranty

Your piece carries a 2-year warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects. This matches the legal guarantee of conformity that applies in the EU, the EEA and Switzerland.

What the warranty does not cover: accidental damage that happens while the piece is in your care. That includes knocks, drops, scratches, crushing, water or heat damage, a chain snapped by pulling, and ordinary wear and tear. Please see the care guidance below — these pieces are not waterproof. Your statutory rights are not affected by this.

If your item is outside its warranty period, or has been damaged in wear, we can still repair it. Email us at info@oliandj.com and we will send you a personalised quote.

CARE INSTRUCTION

Our Australian sand & Gemstones jewellery that we make are not waterproof. Watch out for water damage.

We advise against exposure to excessive humidity or heat. On our Desert Sands pieces, where the sand is sealed between glass on the front and back, humidity or heat may lead to condensation inside the glass.

Many factors can influence the condition of jewellery :

  • Do not wear in the shower or while washing or swimming.

  • Please avoid spa and sauna use, and remove it while exercising.

  • Avoid sleeping with your jewellery, as this will cause extra wear & tear.

  • Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches & drops as this may cause substantial damage.

  • Exercise caution to prevent excessive pulling on the chain, as it can snap and break.

  • Strongly recommend storing our jewellery in a jewellery box while carrying in a bag to avoid any kind of damage.

We recommend storing it in a jewellery box or a fabric pouch and cleaning it with a soft cloth for optimal care.
